For those of you who need to communicate in English on a daily basis and communicate with international customers/clients by email, phone or find themselves present regularly. Based on over 22 years of teaching experience and extensive travelling all over the world, I have combined this knowledge into 3 international training options for you to get to the nitty-gritty of these subjects.
After these courses you'll find it a lot easier to come up with the right words, you'll know that you are getting it right tone-wise, and you will see the communication improve: fewer mistakes and positive responses due to your cultural awareness.
All three options are taught in-company.
- Group package: pick two for a one-day workshop or two half days.
Included are: business vocabulary related to the topic, grammar isssues that need to be avoided, entry test and a one-month follow up based on weakest link.
In four hours you will know how to start, finish and write English emails to different parts of the world in the right tone. With many example sentences and synonyms you are able to construct your own emails. A B2 level grammar understanding is preferred so as to compose your own sentences.
Speaking on the phone might feel dawnting to some people and having to come up with the right words a bit of a challenge at times. In this block you will learn how to level with the person on the other end of the line and create such an understanding that you will leave a lasting impression. Pronunciation is paid attention to as is spelling names and formality across cultures.
In this block you will come to understand what gives your audience the right feel and and what will make them regard you as a professional. Small techniques in hands, legs, movement, use of powerpoint and use of voice are the basics of these 4 hours. You will get to practise all the techniques and will know what language to use. To top it off, you will be made aware of how to present in the presence of different cultures, so as to make sure you are leaving a lasting impression.
